Forefront Telecare Announces Phase 2 For Rural Hospitals

US-Based Leading Telehealth provider company, Forefront Telecare Inc, who is known as the pioneer in providing behavioral Telehealth services to healthcare professional and adults in the far flung rural areas of the US, has announced launching of Phase 2 of #RuralHealthSTRONG COVID-19 Response Program.

According to the PR Newswire, the company will offer HIPAA-compliant video conferencing and telehealth carts at no additional cost to hundreds of medical units, clinics and hospitals in far flung rural areas of the United States.

The Leading Telehealth provider company has already provided its services to more than 200 medical facilities nationwide.

It is important to mention that each cart of behavioral telehealth consists of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996-compliant Software and Hardware. These behavioral carts will allow the operationalization of rural healthcare professionals to keep their health unit right from the homes. This system also helps to minimize the chances of further spreading the COVID-19 Pandemic in the country, which is still struggling to control the pandemic.

These behavioral carts along with safe and secure HIPAA-compliant video conferencing services will help both the patients and health care professionals to interact each other. This process will also help to ease the financial burden on the medical facility.

The Boss of Forefront Telecare Rob Rebak has described the system as “Rural hospitals are the essential healthcare hubs for countless rural communities across the country. Many hospitals were struggling financially before this COVID-19 crisis and are now at added risk because of the strain this crisis is placing on providers and facilities, approximately 20% of the U.S. rural population is over 65, making this situation especially dangerous.”

“Rural America is facing an unprecedented challenge and Forefront is committed to helping with this program and more in the coming days and weeks,” Rebak further added in his statement.
